My Story

Growing up, I always had an entrepreneurial spirit burning within me. While others aimed to climb the corporate ladder, I envisioned a different path—one where I could create something of my own. But breaking away from the conventional mindset wasn't easy. Society often dictates that success lies in traditional career paths, leaving little room for unconventional dreams.

How I Started

In 2012, I took my first leap into entrepreneurship with a venture in social media marketing. Through this experience, I delved into the world of website building using platforms like Shopify and Wix, honed my skills in social media marketing, and discovered a passion for blogging. It was a journey filled with lessons, challenges, and moments of growth.

However, it wasn't until 2018, while planning my wedding, that my love for crafting truly blossomed. Faced with budget constraints, I turned to DIY solutions for various wedding essentials. As I immersed myself in crafting, memories of my school art and crafts classes flooded back, reigniting a childhood dream of becoming an artist. Though previously overlooked, my passion for crafting now burned brightly within me.

Discovering Digital Products

Balancing my newfound love for business with my 9-5 job, I embarked on a side hustle in 2019. It was during this time that I discovered the power of digital products in managing and growing a business. From pricing tools to bookkeeping spreadsheets, digital solutions became invaluable assets in navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship.

The Unbelievable Happend

Then, in 2020, the world was shaken by the onset of the pandemic, bringing unforeseen challenges and upheavals. Like many others, I found myself facing the harsh reality of job loss. However, amidst the uncertainty, I saw an opportunity to pursue my passion wholeheartedly. In that moment of reckoning, I made the bold decision to turn my passion for entrepreneurship into a full-time pursuit.

The breakthrough that changed it all

And so, Glitz Experience and Glitz N Craft were born from my passion for event décor and creativity. It's amazing how a leap of faith can lead us to our true calling.

I currently teach balloon design and event décor, as well as one-on-one Cricut crafting classes. This journey has taught me valuable lessons and helped me overcome obstacles.
